
Rev. Dr. Wayne A. Yost, Bridge Stated Clerk
Wayne Yost is a PC (U.S.A.) minister currently serving as part-time stated clerk for the Synod of the Trinity. Wayne was ordained in 1973. He has eighteen years if pastoral service with congregations in Kentucky, Ohio, Missouri, and Kansas which ranged from 500 to 50 members. Prior to serving the synod Wayne was the executive/general presbyter for Kiskiminetas Presbytery. He served in that position for nearly 24 years.
While serving the Synod of the Trinity, Wayne has also served as a “bridge stated clerk” for the Muskingum Valley Presbytery in Ohio, and as the temporary associate stated clerk for the Synod of the Covenant, in a judicial capacity. His term as part time stated clerk for the synod will end at the end of December.
Wayne holds an M.Div. from Louisville Presbyterian Seminary and a D. Min. from Eden Seminary (UCC). Wayne has held certificates in church administration, family systems theory, conflict management, and coaching within the church. He has taught polity for M.Div. and CRE students at Pittsburgh Seminary, and for CRE students through Dubuque Seminary.
